SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

The purpose of the contest is to come up with a logo design for the 2015 Manitoba Indigenous Adoptees Coalition Inc. 2015 Connecting Our Spirits – an Indigenous Adoptee and Foster Care Gathering. The logo will be used online, in print, on merchandise and to create a “brand” that can be placed on the report of the gathering, business cards and stationary. Flexibility and simplicity is a key requirement.

The logo does not need to contain the MIAC name within the design but should have some representation of issues related to Indigenous people whom have been adopted and placed in foster care. The winning logo entry selected may be augmented and used as the finished logo. The limit on attachment sizes for our email is 5Mb. If your submission exceeds this size, even after compression, please send the images individually and note clearly in your emails that you are doing so.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All submitted work must be original and not based on any pre-existing design. Contestants will assign all ownership rights, including property rights of the proposed logo, and all Entries will become the sole property of the MIAC and may be displayed publicly on the MIAC web site and social media. The winning entry will be used by the MIAC as a logo for the 2015 Gathering and the entrant agrees to transfer all rights and title to the entry to the MIAC in accordance with the rules of this contest. MIAC may publish the design and name of winning contestant, and may use the logo for both advertising and marketing campaign materials.

CONSIDERATION
